Real Guru. Thanks for your tips
i love that you delivered this vital information.i am really thrilled to learn more advertising secrets from you.
Thanks for the information. It will really help me in doing my business on the internet. I plan on replaying the video to see if there is anything that I may have missed. Thanks again
Absolutely brilliant info, Eben. Thank you! This is exactly what I have been looking for to help me manage myself better and become more productive. I've known intuitively that I needed to reduce multitasking and distractions, etc., but was also looking for some guidance on how to prioritize the seemingly never-ending list of internet marketing tasks that need to be done in this online world. I can't thank you enough...you've made my day/week/year!!!
Love the clarity and simplicity of your video blogs. THE GREY TYPE ON BLUE BACKGROUND IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO READ. REVERSE TYPE CREATES EYE STRAIN. BLACK TYPE ON WHITE BACK GROUND FOR BLOCKS OF TYPE IS THE THING. GREAT WORK! ROBERT
This 30 min video has taught me about business more than many other videos on the net. I like the clear, organized thoughts and ideas discussed here. I had a lot of "ahas" while viewing this video. I am going to put this first hour practice immediately. Great tips! Thanks Eben!
I thoroughly enjoyed your teaching, your style is so personable and so to the point. You presented some things that I had heard before, but in such a way that I could really accept the concept and why it would make a difference. -- Thank you I believe these videos will make a huge difference in my business - even if I cannot get the full program.
Way to go champ! Avoiding broken focus for 2 hours a day is going to be the key to taking my business to the next level. Live to love and love to live, Vince P.S. I was a little disappointed you don't want to look like a bodybuilder but I won't hold it against you :)
This is great for me because I'm always jumping from one thing to another as well as multitasking. I like the idea of the blocks of time and also the morning routine. This is such great advice I can't thank you enough.
Really inspiring stuff. I will follow your routine starting from today. I really enjoyed listening to you. Thank you so much Eban
never really thought in that way sounds great will put to work and let ya know how i make out
"WOW", I have been in network marketing for 5 years, grabbing little bits of wisdom here and there, wasting lots of time and money. I have a library of books that could not have begun to condence time management, in the way you have in this short message. Bottom line the way you teach is so to the point and inspiring all I can say is your Mom must be a proud lady. Eben, what makes you excell is your giving!! God Bless and thank you, Patty
Thanks for the video. It was very educational & soon to be inspiring for myself. I fall a victim to all of this and have been saying I need to create non-negotiable time for my businesses and get back focused. Today i even said that I was going to start getting some rest because I just can't seem to function anymore. I will start implementing this. Thanks, Eben
Lean and straight, that's where I am going to be after this video. Thanks for the First Hour Secret, Eben. From Berlin, Germany: Tim
Great information. I'm looking forward to the next video.
Oh My Lord !!! You tell all things, that I do wrong and how I can fix it . thanks so much
your video is fantastic. I speak better french than english. but I am doing my best to improve it. I listened your video twice, and sincerely I appreciated your concept of time management.
WOW! You said it in a nutshell. The other part of success is to share these techniques with others that you believe can and will be as successful as you! The way you set your morning, does in fact set the rest of you day! Thank you !
VERY, VERY Informative, you can actucally apply it in almost every area of your life, if you look at it in a different point of view. The one that strikes me most is getting yourself in good shape health wise, speaking for myself, I cannot get motivated when I am tired. Thank you for that great advice and the rest will follow.... and thank you so much for sharing....mary
Back to basics - simple, effective, and ... right on. John
Thanks for sharing such valuable information with us. It is sincerely appreciated and certainly will help me to get refocused more powerfully than ever before! Blessings to you for giving!!
Thank you. I like when you made the quote we are actually managing ourselves and not time. It is so true. I have had a lot problems with organization and not staying focused on one task and finishing the task and move on to the next. The most important thing I learnt is making myself strong to start the day. Many times during the day, I do not eat anything and then I feel so faint and have to get something to eat. I don't even drink water so my mind just does not stay focused. I have done it for such a long time. I can confirm what you say, have a good first meal of the day. This has been very beneficial. Thank you, again
Thanks Eben for an inspired summary on "managing ourselves" - your S. Covey reference is right on the money. Starting the short exercises at the 33 minute point will likely sort out the wheat from the chaff. mark mcclure japan
Hi Eben, really impressive. I used to learn the time-managing techniques, but in the meantime I have lost my mind to it. It just flew away, like the sands of time. By watching your video, this redeemed to myself and I will take a serious look to maintain this most important things to make the day work fine. It's essential to have a clean focus. I remember a story about a guy who didn't know, where to travel. Without a clean point to a target, you'll never come to your goal. Yes, thanks for watching this and wish you a great time. Best Regards, Lars
I enjoyed your video and I am going to leave it on my mail so I can go back to see it again! As a Pastor, I need to learn good time managment. Thank so much. Philip A. Whary
Hi Eben, I like how you integrate others' knowledge with your video, and advertise that you will be bringing in other presenters for your videos. Aside -> one 'focus tool' I've found that helps me focus is wearing a headset. No music, doesn't even block out all the sounds and noises - dulls them down a lot though. It simply helps me focus. I'll definitely check out your site. God Bless, Mike
Referred through Worldwide Brands. Just the message I needed at the right time. Excellent presentation and content. I'll be back!
Thanks so so much. Your presentation was right on the money! I took notes because I really need to follow your suggestions to get myself and thus my business in line.
Eben...thanks for the THUMP ON THE HEAD! Knowledge worker/Monkey Brain??!! At least I'm not alone. Action steps to leverage myself is the best tips i've received in a long time. Enjoying my new mindset. myspace-whatiknownow and youtube-AskAnAlaskan--Annette Ulmer
Fantastic Video! Right now I'm working on a shoestring budget, but when I can afford it, my earnings will go to your videos. I can see myself growing from them and becoming successful!!!
Great info, We use this information all the time at our website http://www.ispauldead.com Eben really focus on what works, follow along and it will work.
Eben, I work at home and it's as if you have been watching me. Watching your video makes me realize how much I need to re-evaluate how I use my time. The first thing I will start doing in the mornings after the drink of water and exercise is read my notes from your video. You have been such a great help. Thanks so much! Marie
This is the most practical information I've ever received since trying to launch my website. Thanks for your help and sound advice.
thanks a lot, really enjoyed your video, lots of great advice. when are you going to produce more videos like this one?
Hi, am having a slow internet connection. Could you assist with a copy in my email? Thank you and hope to learn more. Regards, Peter Macharia
The free information and training you provide in these videos far exceeds information I have paid hundreds of dollars for. Thank you for this. I hope to make enough money to be able to afford your other courses. I would recommend these videos for anyone who wants to succeed on any level with any product or service.
Hey Eben, another great video! It really makes sense about time management and yes I get distracted ALL THE TIME! Your videos are always to the point and on ball. Thanks again Your friend, Alex :)
Much needed at just the right time. thanks
Thanks, Eben! I needed to be taught how to use my time wisely. I used to take pride of doing multi-task but I like your concept of eliminating it to be effective. What a great video!
Great information. just getting started. Need all the help I, can get. Thx
Great information. just getting started. Need all the help I, can get. Thx
What a terrific video. Presented well with concise action steps for us to take. Although I'm fairly good at time management, I do still get caught up in "multi-tasking" - you had some great reminders as to why we shouldn't do it! Thanks for all of your insight - very helpful.
Eben, I appreciate your videos and they give information for those of us that can not afford the full guru mastermind program, these snippets are very motivating as I have all the problems that you went through in this video of time management, not being able to focus. I have a bad habit of distractions and I have to learn the concept of Clean Focus. It is a mine set that I will focus on. Thanks again. LeeWade LeeWade
A lot of value in this post found myself haveing slide the bar back quite often to re listen to what he had to say. Must of been that monkee thing Eben was talking about Dean
I do think this was very useful. Long, but worth it. Very detailed and you seem to have thought of everything. Thanks! (I'll try your techniques out and let you know how it goes :-) ) - Nina
Well, gee-whiz! Stunningly, intuitively obvious observations and clear cut methods of implementation. I'll get around to it real soon now... oh. wait... This is the second time in two days that I've heard the phrase 'Money-brain', so I went and looked it up in the dictionary. They had my picture in there. If I could presume to add one thing to this brilliant video, it would be "Do that last little bit of effort". Don't get around to it, do it now. I've got plenty of domains and ideas, most of which are 80-90% done, but none of which are generating any income. Pick one and finish it.
Hola amigos.. no entoiendo nada,, pero todo bienn..un beso los quiero mucho.. bye bye
This video is very well done. I am very much interested in time management and has taught this topic as part of the training course to my staff.cheers,Joe
Hi Eban, I tried to download the viseo/s but our internet connection just does not make the grade at the moment. I work on a ship and it is sooo slow and cuts out all the time. Is it possible to send as a zip or something along with the free software I was told about. Cheers! Rgds, Mike
Very interesting, a lot of truth, but hard to do.
Thank You Eben! Your videos come at a moment I'm trying to restructure myself needing help...I would like to life by painting and selling my paintings (which later could be postcards, posters, etc.. I'm starting to have success so I know it could workand I think I can apply your advices. I listened to you because you do yoga. Linda
Oh dear ... you caught me! I was listening to the video whilst updating a document, printing something out and checking my stats on a recent mailout ... and responding to a couple of text messages ... Another great video, many thanks for the insight and encouragement. Kind regards Jo
Eben, I got the most out of "Becoming a Productive Modern Guru" video. In particular, avoiding the multitasking trap. In my fulltime profession, I am a Senior Enterprise Account Manager for a Software company. I am also a Vice-President with a Direct Selling Company called Lightyear Alliance. Your video was outstanding and will allow me to better focus on the tasks at hand, while eliminating distractions and friction that impedes the growth of my business. I have also implemented your suggestions of how to allocate my time. I use my web copy to create leads for my Direct Selling business, and I will also incorporate this material into my blog. (www.successtrainerblog.com) I will allocate my time into Prospecting, Copywriting, Organization, and Training. Excellent information, and I look forward to more quality information moving forward!
@Judith Eddy I feel I'm in the same boat too -when I finish work I go to my recording studio then go home about 8pm and cook dinner. I then spend the evening with my wife (which she insists on). I'm glad she does insist on it, otherwise I'd burn out and I'd never see it. So I sat down and figured out last night that I could probably guarantee to dedicate one hour per night to IM. not much, eh? and then I figured I'm spending that hour 'faffing' about and getting nothing done. SO HERE'S MY PLAN: I'm going to sit down and plan my whole strategy from end to end. then break each phase into chunks of one hour's effort. Then every day do one, one hour chunk. Baby steps in the right direction. with any luck, this planning should take one hour, too! There's probably already some guru that's done this and made a lovely course out of it, so I won't bother - I'll just apply it to myself and reap the benefits. My Point? I know I only have one hour per day, so if I LIMIT myself to that, I'm sure I'll make some serious headway. I'm working on a very large, DAUNTING project, and I'm getting nothing done. This will Kill or Cure me! Thoughts on this, anyone?
Like a spash of cold water in the face, Eban. Thanks. I needed that. Monkey mind master here. I am going for clean focus. Thanks again.
Great videos, Eben and great call tonight. I have some new ideas for e-books now and I have my plan in place and time management ideas to "get it done". Starting NOW. Debbie
I found the video very informative with great ideas to help get started in the right way. I am only just starting internet business so it's all new to me and you gave lots of great advice to start me on the right track, thank you so much Chris.
Just what the Doctor ordered! The four hindrances Eben talks about are my daily regime! No wonder I am upside down and frustrated all the time. I just thought it was 'mileage' or lack of ability related. With these simple but powerful tools I expect to find that the 'light at the end of this tunnel' is NOT a TRAIN!. Thank you Eben!
I wish I could do this. I am at work 7 - 4 and read PDFs about IM while I am calling on the phone for my work. I also so many other tasks related to my IM business while at work, doing my other work. I have to multi task or I would not be getting in the extra work I need to do my other on line business. Then I go home and work an additional 6 - 8 hours on my IM. So what can a person in my position do if we want to be released from the 9-5 grind?
It's so difficult NOT to multi task when working on the computer. I tend to have 4 or 5 windows open at a time and it's easy to jump around from task to task. Thanks for this video; it was very helpful. I only checked my email one time while watching it. :) Thanks again!
Very effective video with clear and simple insights on positioning oneself to build a business. Thank you! Lynda
Excellent input, thought provoking, creates focus, enjoyed, helps one get back on track in a fast paced and distracting world and will listen to several times more!

It is a business, hence life, saving video. Great words of wisdom especially for those who procrastinate and use lack time as a rationale.
Wow, I really have to invest in this program :D Your stuff is excellent !!!
Thank you Eden great video and information makes my day to know someone cares.Looking forward to learning more.GOD BLESS.Yvonne
Eben, Thank you. Great video. Very helpful and motivational. I'm going to watch it again. It's not just the content; the way you present it, adds to its value.
Dear Eben, that was excellent info. Many thanks for taking the time to do it. Very powerful. I will take it on board and start very quickly. It is challenging to say the least. This info demands a lot, when caring for an disabled person 24/7. The fact of concentrating for TWO HOURS I will find not easy. So I will begin with smaller chuncks say 45 minutes and break, then again. Then increase it to an hour and a break until I am there. Be blessed. Beat
Eben, Thank you for putting together such a clear & focused video. You are right about distractions. I get quite a few in my business and feel like I have let myself down when I haven't finished a project, e-book or task to get more traffic to my website & other business endeavors. I will immediately put this to use! Keep providing these high- value, content rich videos we all can benefit from! Anthony Whyms
Eben, Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with me. I have been spinning my wheels for the past two months in what is called Multi-tasking and I have been in a whirl wind. Your insight has helped me to get my perspective in order. My homework will be to create my list of distractions, interruptions and friction in addition to the distractions, interruptions and friction in which I cause on others and get it out of my life. Thank you so much, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Great info Eban, I can see the mistakes I keep making. paddy athia
Nice presentation of time-tested principles and great ideas for creating that winning mind-set. I've left the mortgage industry to build an online presence and I look to pro's like you for guidance in a new realm. Thanks for the professional courtesy of free information.
Hi Eben, I appreciate your specific comments and suggestions. I am turning off my e-mail notification, and particularly enjoyed your discussion on the pillars and your recommended ratios for each one. Thank you, Jerry Floren
Eben, I appreciate the advice. Very good thoughts about your health. I will take and use it wisely. Thanks
Outstanding Eban. For 8 years I've wondered why I haven't had any success in my online endeavors. No Structure. Now, at 65, I can actually get accomplished what I want to. Thank you.
EXCELLENT INFO WHERE DO I START I HAVE SOFT WARE
Hi Eban, I'm sorry I was unable to hear the video W/my dial-up service.I am very interested in the content. George
Hi Eben, Great presentation. I'd love to have you to have your own online university at eLearningZoom.com. Matt http://www.eLearningZoom.com
Thanks again, very informative!! Been there! Will try again!!
Eben: great video. I needed your knowledge. My construction business is in desperate need of change. The down turn in home building has affected emotially and physically. Your video brings it back into focus. I was a very organized person when things were going great. I will take your advice and get back on track. thanks bill
This is the most helpful information I've received since the recent Underground Seminar and has addressed a lot of the issues I've been struggling with. Thank you for the invaluable information! I feel really inspired!
Another nice lesson. So many don't ever talk about developing yourself personally or your personal productivity habits. I love the "first meal" analogy/lesson. Keep up the great work! Cheers! Rick
yup--another "I hadda watch again" 'n probably will again and again and again
Pls advise how can you run your guru program.
Although I lacking to see the last 12 minutes of the total 37 minutes video -per cause that I unaware-, the material presented per Eben exposes the need to build the goodness of the good habits and customs, which eventually translate into what they do to strong individual, or company or society, in this case in front to businesses across create routines and focus our attention on what should be done until to finish, without distraction of any kind. While per contrast the bad habits and ignorance only promote the dissolution of man in his relationship with himself, with God, Family, Society or business. Thanks Eben per your valuable exposure I like it.
When I do the 60/60/30 time management you recommend, my focus, effectiveness, and productivity flow together and I not only get things accomplished, I get them finished! Thank you, Eben. Julie
Eben, thanks very much for this information-loaded video. You just overdelivered...I agree that the first thing to do is to know how to manage ourselves : have healthy eating habits, cultivate relationships, take time to exercise and relax and just focus on the most important things you have to do that bring you money in. No unuseful distractions! Thanks!
The info you have provided is so thorough, yet to the point and very clear. And it came at just the right time as I am getting back into the swing of my business and everything that needs to be done ASAP, after my first, and long overdue, break in many years. I am convicted to creating routines for the start of my day and the most important productivity activities in my day from this day forth. My new mantra: Clean Focus! Thank you so much.
Eben, thanks for a great video! The 3 pillars of Money Management I found to be excellent advise, which I'll be implementing on (tomorrow) Monday. I really liked "Multitaksing lowers your IQ". Who would have thought that. Monkey mind & emmotions identified some things I found myself falling into. Thanks for the tip.
Eben, SOUND advice, I'm borrowing some of your WISDOM -- 'n fine wisdom it is. Thanks, Reggie
Eben, Your video is very informative and timely, as I'm guessing that multi-tasking has become a way of life for those of us who are "burning the candle at both ends." As a Guerrilla Information Marketing Certified Trainer, I find what you've shared to be fundamental to establishing a solid foundation on which to build and information product marketing business, and I look forward to your next installment and applying what you teach as I build youronlinebusinessadvisor.com.
I'm in the service side and look for ways to transfer business training to my occupation(schools). Eben seems genuine and lays the information out simply yet effective. My only problem is when I listen to this and others like it they always seem to list the size of house as a measurement stick. The one time management presenter that is worth considering is David Allen(GTD) but Eben puts a great bent on the subject and I will implement some of his strategies. Don
I appreciate your comment about how we are our greatest leverage point. I am implementing your suggested system of prioritization and morning routine starting tomorrow. Consistency is key, so I'll check in with myself every couple of weeks to celebrate the results I get from the process. Inch by inch it's a cinch...right? Thanks for the friendly reminder and practical insight you have shared. Best wishes, Natascha
This is true for me, years ago working in my shop once I was side tracked, it would take me time to get back, in my mind to where I was at. Iread some of the comments, ass kissers and angry people. The tools you sell are as the tools & equipment I needed to build the car, bikes and dragsters I created, which were thousands of dollers, without whitch I could not create them. I was distracted twice, the dog & two of my cats that wanted the same spot on the bookcase. Thank You, Frank Leone And tang was using reverse psychology to try to get the freebe.
You are a star and may God continue to reward you. What most people would ask for payment you gave free. This video has gotten me to hate what I do to myself.Trying all I can but going no where why ther is no focus nor routine to follow. I keep breaking the pattan. Thank you this has inspired me to start all over again and take cotrol of my life.To be produtive and be persitent in what I do. You really do care for others to succeed in life. And peolpe like you that the universe want.
Though I am a newbie in this process, fortunately, I had begun to arrive at this point before listening to this video, though you have now confirmed for me that I am heading in the right direction. I have always been good at time management, but became more structured with my time. I feel that where most people have to launch from is the employee versus the business owner. If we don't first make that transition the constant reoccurance of employee thinking will continue to invade our progress. Will all things imporant there has to be segments of time uninterrupted set aside to work on that daily, weekly and monthly goal. Great job bringing out all the nuances. Nedra
the programme is educating ,putting someone in the business line.
Wow Eben, this information has tremendous value! Thanks for sharing this! Danny.
WOW! This was excellent. My favorite post yet. I wasn't even planning on taking notes, but ended up taking a bunch. Will be implementing the "clean blocks of time" starting...now lol. Thanks for this!
Hi Eben, I am not a knowledge worker but work in a Bank. I happened to see your Video and find that the advices are great. These can be used by anyone to improve his life. Normally, free stuff are just plain marketing gimmicks, with hardly any useful items. Your Video is different. Do keep it up and all the best. Bhaskar
Thank you! I now understand that I am the single most important factor in my own success- not external things. It is worth my time and energy to cultivate and manage myself.
Thank you Eben, that reminds me of a lot of things I constantly forget. This is very condensed highly usefull information. I will recommend your page to my friends. Thanks again greetings Frank
I am delighted to have come in contact with you. Before I met you (message, I could not think straight and sometime in my business I do fulish things that almost liquidate my business. But my greatest gratitude goes to God Almighty for letting me come in contact with you through the net. Thank you very much and God bless you once again.
Ok, There are quite a few action steps here. GamePlan. Listen to video 10 times. Note percentages. Focus on Strengh Training. Followed wake up system today. Earned $1000.00 by 11:30 am Thanks
really valuable information, I like it and I'll use it. Thank you very much
I have bought many programs but none of them was that good.I would like you to train me in the Information Product Marketing.
Good content. I don't have the email distraction because I only check it once or twice a day. I like the idea of starting off your day with excercise and a good breakfast. I have always tried to do that myself but sometimes I just don't. Things will change so that I can make things better for myself. Thanks, John
Oh My Goodness-This is the best open information by far on the net as far as a How-To for all of us newbies! Just terrific stuff and you put it in an elementary way which is what I need. I use Transcendental Meditation twice a day for 20 minutes each that provides for me so much relief from every day stresses. Your thoughts for time management will go a long way to continue my journey of self-improvement and motivation. I have spent a lot of money LEARNING what not to do...thank you for teaching what I can do! I became acquainted with your teaching's through another marketer who I have felt was the only person on the net who would actually open up and be honest and give of himself totally. If 97% of home businesses fail there is a market for people like yourself, that are dedicated to the little guy who aspires to make a living by helping others get what there dreams are. Thank you for what you are doing, people like myself have invested alot of time/money for these dreams with no real success. There has always been something with held to continue with a cash cow for that guru and people buy literally into it. I applaud what you have done and you have a person in me who with live through the dreams you've helped create. Thank you so much for helping my family begin to achieve through your education, some humble success. We are inspired by your business ideologies. The name of my company is Serves The Many for a reason-it's what we want to do is serve the masses. You think there's a market for a 97% failure rate in this industry? Wishing you continued success-we are with you for life!-Dave Jewett/Gemma Bautista Parners in Business and in Life
Eben: I've been self-employed for 30+ years and have read and heard much on these topics before. However, it always pays to listen to a bright mind who is an expert in the field. You have helped me to re-focus on the most important tasks in my life and businesses and I am grateful for it. My financial and insurance clients and my family will benefit from it.
Eben, Thanks for the insites. Great information. I'm looking forward to listening a second time since I was multi tasking the first half. oops! You speak the truth.
Thanks Eban- great video, I ate it up... like good food! I love your down-to-earth way of presenting information. It makes it so easy to digest. Unknowingly, I seem to have adopted habits that are healthy and that keep my energy going. Sometimes I feel guilty for the hour I take to myself in the morning. Not any more!! Now if I can just get rid of those pesky distractions (life!) and allow myself the "luxury" of focusing on one thing at a time. Glad to know that old-fashioned concentration is the name of the game. Thanks again! Betsy
The name Eben means "Rock of Help". How perfect. Thanks, Eben, for all of your Help. You Rock!
Eben, Thank you so much... I found myself nodding in enthusiasm & agreement for what you were saying throughout the entire video & was left feeling like you do
