Eben, I was very impressed by your time management video, it shows how much organiztion and structure of you entire day make all the difference. this subject has been on mind for months now and your info just confirmed to me what i must do, thank you for sharing that. I am changing my life right now through finacial education and by aggresively pursueing my dreams by actually applying action to what I want. I am using realestate and the internet to do it. I am setting up a website to sell costa rican coffee and am finishing my first property deal. I am not waiting until I get all my "ducks in a nice little row" before I start moving, now I am just doing the things I have allways wanted to do by putting action to my thoughts. I really enjoyed the your video about the history of the self help movement. You have a very unigue, consise, clear way of conveying your thoughts, I like that. It really shows how much you have studied and prepared yourself and when I saw all of the books you have read that was simply proof of how effective you are at communicating. That is EXACTLY what I would like to learn from you! communication is key but knowing how, when, and wich tools to use for each specific endeavor would be the invauable information needed and I feel you could provide this. short info about me, I am a missionary kid, spent time in different countries and came home to america to make my own way. I am sorry I missed your web-a-thon today. I guess I tried to get in to early for central standard time. I need all the help I can get. I'm a retired teacher who took early retirement because of MS. So, my retirement is poor. My spouse of 46 yearrs ran off with a woman 2 years older than our daughter. He did not what to live with an older woman that has an incurable disease. So my income could use some bolstering, as well as my ego.

I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness a few years ago. Something spookily similar to that which my mother had suffered, and that ended her life far too soon... So after listening to Eben's 'day management' tips, I decided to get healthy and prove to the docs that my illness was NOT incurable. I now start each day with a few minutes 'zoning out', and then I do yoga or pilates for at least 20 minutes -- longer if I'm feelings stronger. I then eat a healthy breakfast: fruit juice and muelsi with dried fruit, linseed, yoghurt, rice milk, seeds, nuts. This has replaced my old 'unhealthy' breakfast of chocolate croissants. Next up, I switch on my computer and either use Google or my inbox to read something fun and/or inspiring for 10-20 minutes. A few rounds of 'yoga breathing' meditation later, I'm ready and fired up for the day ahead... What I've felt since implementing these changes (I used to be a bit of a slob on a morning, and fired up my sytem with all the wrong foodstuffs. But NO MORE!) is a huge leap of energy and focus. I'm now more eager to get out of bed, and seem to be more in control of my illness, rather than it being in control of me. So THANK YOU, Eben. You may well have turned my life around for the better. (I'll keep you updated on the cure mission!)

Aaaagh Eban I posted my competition entry too late I could just about cry I dont know what possessed me not to look at the date. Im in Australia on another date line and for some reason thought today was the cut off.Is there any time soon an opportunity will come through like this again.Its like starting at your first day ant schiool, and being told you cant go anymore....I only had 5 days to get your info and feel like the world simply opened up for me . I was connecting the dots at a furious pace.Is there any way I could sneak in under the radar. If I had the dollars I would book in at a moments notice. I stopped work to set myself up on the internet and living on a strict savings budget. I like people and I listen to what they say. For more than 50 years all of my personal and professional activities have required effective communication. Both personally and professionally I have two rules for success. When I am wrong, I admit it. Then I go back to the last place where I was right and start forward again, I always quote fact, never authority. Because I am an engineer who follows these rules, I deliver a finished product on time, in budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer! A Personal Snapshot I am a life member of the NRA. I have been: An Air Force officer who designed and flew flight test protocols On the faculty at UCLA teaching young engineers, A member of the Senior Technical Staff at the IDA in Washington, DC, and at GRC in Santa Barbara CA. An advisor to SOF in Southeast Asia, For 20 years a GS-15 scientist and supervisor at both the BRL and HEL Where I built teams which solved aircraft vulnerability problems and small arms projectiles wound ballistics problems. . For more than 20 years an expert witness in state and federal courts on issues of firearms use and safety. Most importantly, a father of eight and a grandfather of 12. Along the way I had time for public service with local ballet companies and the Boy Scouts. As Paul Harvey used to say, "Here Is the Rest of the Story". Family tragedy paves the way to a successful life. In 1937 my mother became a widow raising three boys by herself. The legacy left to me by my father was a memory of my second birthday. My dad took me to a rifle range. He kneeled down and had me sit on his knee. He placed a rifle to his shoulder and allowed me to pull the trigger! It was a birthday present I shall never forget. My two brothers were old enough to work for money (and both were soon off to fight in World War II), but I was the baby of the family, just five years old. My mother had been trained as a nurse before marriage. She found a job working the afternoon to midnight shift at the local hospital. I became an early model of the latchkey kid. Like any good mother she worried about me. Unlike many mothers, she had a plan to keep me busy with self-improvement: I listened to the University Explorer, a California predecessor to NPR. I took music lessons. I built model airplanes (and later became an aeronautical engineer)! I learned from every educational comic book Mom could find. I spent time at a Dojo learning the concepts of Jujitsu. As a child, I was the biggest and least coordinated kid in grammar school. And boy did I take a whipping! It was a lot of fun for smaller kids to hit me and run. I could never catch them. I fought back in the classroom! In the classroom, my anger at not having been able to defend myself paid off in spades! In the classroom, I could hit them academically and they could never catch me. As I grew older and entered middle school and high school, my mother's plan continued: I had to take dance lessons. I had to take public speaking. I had to take Latin. I had to go out for football and track. Instead of study hall I had to take both band and orchestra. When graduation from high school loomed, Mom took me on a field trip to the campus of the California Institute of Technology. She marched me into the office of the Dean of Admissions and explained to both of us that I would be a student there next year. This in spite of the fact that my high school chemistry teacher had told her that I could never make it into such a tough school. He was wrong! She was right... Years of focus brought me to Cal Tech With Honors at Entrance. I graduated with academic Honors, and I received three more degrees from Cal Tech. It was a triumph of self over the real world. I had been made defenseless by the circumstances of my unruly growth. The ability to learn became my personal defense weapon. I used that weapon to build a 50 year career! Now you have a rough sketch of who and what I am. And I have a rough sketch of who and what you are. Where the Rubber Hits the Road Talk about "a day late and a dollar short"! Eban, I have lived by the rule of multitasking for over 20 years so this has been one of the biggest challenges that I have ever had to overcome. After listening to your video I realized that my lack of productivity is caused by my poor time management. I WILL be a successful niche marketer so I am committed to changing the things in my life that are stopping me from obtaining my goals. I have implemented a new time management system throughout my day. Let me explain. I start the day taking care of myself as you have explained. I wakeup and the first thing I do is go down to the kitchen and get a nice tall glass of water. Then I do about 20 minutes of Power Yoga which gets my heart rate up and helps me with my flexibility. At the end of my Yoga session I do about 5 to 10 min of meditation. This is followed by having a simple but healthy breakfast and then taking some time to read or listen/watch videos. Here is what I have done to make myself more effective; I have turned off the phone, no longer use call waiting, my outlook email client is turned off. Now I check my email only at certain time intervals throughout the day. Taking the clean focus technique I now focus only on one thing at a time. I have adopted the 60/60/30 solution to manage my time rest and nutrition periods. I now have a set routines that I try and follow though out the day which includes exercise, rest and eating multiple small meals throughout the day. I am avoiding multitasking, distractions and interuptions. I have started to let go of the types of clients that have caused me much agrevation. This has been a huge weight off my back. What I have accomplished since I have started this is a much clearer focus on my goals. I have now started outsourcing the majority of my busy work so I can focus on the big plan. I have a new partner, a product and a launch date. I plan on contantly making improvements in my niche marketing. Time is running out! I really just came across your website in detail tonight Eben after realizing that I had missed the Mike Dillard call earlier this evening. I was bummed out, so I went back to your site and the videos are fantastic! So, I'm watching the ocean roll in from your balcony on your video when it hits me... today is the 28th! I am going to miss the deadline... so I had better start typing. Let me tell you my story. I own a mortgage business in Southern Indiana that was booming up until just a few months ago. In fact, I had to stop digging on the site of our new office building as the market has turned in a big way. So, needless to say, the outlook is not too rosy for the mortgage biz right now. Realizing this fact a while back I started looking for ways to promote my MLM Business to earn a little extra money and I did it through creating my own physical 90 page generic manual on become an online travel agent. I have sold a handful so far, but just enough to pay for some printing... this is when I saw your site. Time is running out on the income from the mortgage business and I am in the middle of making some drastic changes to my life. One of those things, is to learn how to master the art of product creation and expand on what I have done with my product so far. The problem is, I am real close to having to shut down my business as I am merely weeks away from some major financial issues. But, I know that shutting down my business is in reality shutting down my dreams of being a successful business owner. With this in mind, your videos have given me new life! I have not officially implemented anything as of this very second... but I am starting right now to do what you have recommended. 1.) Finish the final touches on my Book... 2.) Get it on Clickbank first thing tomorrow 3.) Contact a few contacts that I have met online to help me market it 4.)Interview an upline friend of mine, and put it to cd as a bonus for signing up for my E Course. 5.)Continue testing my marketing to be sure of what works. ... all on a shoestring budget. I really would like to be as all the people here saying they are great videos... I think they are... unfortunatelly i cannot be sure. 1 hour to get 25% of the first video, too bad there was a refresh of the connection that just stopped the download. Wouldn't it be possible to have a download link to watch the video? thus being able to forward, backward, pause and note interesting part. I would have liked put this question in another place but couldn't find any better. But i am not sorry because sure many people would love getting that download link, wouldn't you? Hi Eban I've watched a couple of your videos and you know your so right. I have a major problem with staying on track it seem I always think there is something else I need to be doing. I've sent this Email as nothing more than a thank you letter for telling me I been doing things wrong, you know kind of like the boss leaning over my shoulder. For me there is no boss in my life except my wife. Latlly my life has been out of focus, thanks again for slapping me around and reminding me what my life used to be like I really miss the work outs in the morning, and the meditation yet I don't remember when that part left my life. But because of a few words from a stranger meaning you Eban. I beleive this could all come back together for me in a very short time. You got my attention lets do this. Eban: May your mind evolve so much you become pure energy. I am entering your challenge to be coached by you and look forward to the opportunity. I once opened up an email that made it to my junk mail folder. I windered "What is this double your dating stuff?" I had never heard of the 'community' before. That email took me on a journey that lead me to where I am today. I opened up a party bus business to create social opportunities for myself.
